Facebook & Social Networking & You
Ah, social networking. If you haven’t started yet, you should harness some of the power of social networking. All business professionals either need (or probably already have) a Facebook account. It’s not just for young people anymore. Or join LinkedIn. Or Naymz. The list of options goes on and on. All of them offer a free account, plus premium upgrades.
Sites like these will help you get *you* known in the world. Your name will be ranked higher on the search engines (c’mon, admit it, you Google your name monthly to see what’s out there). If your name is John Smith, that’s pretty important. Luckily, there aren’t many other Tad Clarkes in the world.
